Numbered objects.
One house.
OBJET NOIR does not make collections. It makes pieces. Each sculpture is drawn in Paris, finished by a single atelier in Milan, and lived with before it ships.
Not a catalogue.
A lineup.
Each piece is considered, numbered, signed. There is no grid of SKUs because this is not a shop — it is a house. Enter each piece below.
THE STRATOS CORE
The core of the orbit. A matte silhouette, faceted from a single form, finished in slate. The first edition of THE STRATOS — numbered 001. Each piece is moulded, hand-finished, and signed on the back plate before it leaves the atelier.
THE STRATOS OBSIDIAN
Obsidian. The STRATOS silhouette, rendered in deep-space black. Hand-polished to a matte volcanic finish that absorbs light rather than reflecting it. A darker companion to THE STRATOS CORE — more limited, more absolute. Numbered edition of 100.
THE STRATOS COMPANION
The companion piece. A smaller silhouette that travels — finished in matte slate, sized for the desk, the shelf, the carry-on. The third edition of THE STRATOS, intended to live closer to its collector than the larger pieces. Numbered edition of 200.
THE STRATOS CARRARA MARBLE
Carrara. The STRATOS silhouette, hand-carved from a single block of Italian Carrara marble — the same stone Michelangelo carved his David from. Each piece is veined uniquely; no two are alike. The most exclusive edition of the collection: limited, heavy, eternal. Numbered edition of 25.
THE STRATOS 24K GOLD
24-karat gold. The STRATOS silhouette finished in a hand-applied 24K gold plate — every facet catching light as if lit from within. The rarest edition in the collection. Ten pieces, numbered 001 through 010, each ships in a bespoke display case and is accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity.
Three cities.
One object.
Drawn
Every piece begins as a graphite study in the studio — form first, object second.
Cast
Finished by a single atelier in Lombardy. Bronze, chrome, or mineral pigment — never composite.
Signed
Each object is numbered, signed on the base, and catalogued in a private registry.
Every piece deserves
a conversation.
Objet Noir is not a shop. Arrange a private viewing — virtual or in person in Paris or Milan — and we'll walk you through the patina, the weight, the provenance.
